The Belle Vue was built in 1903 after the widening of the High Street and was located at the Northern end of the High Street at the junction of St Margaret's Road. Due to Jubilee Road going through, it was demolished in 1976/77 to make way for the road. listed in the Kelly's Directory of 1932 it has the landlord as Mr George. R. Houghton and also lists the North End Sea Angling Club having their meetings at the pub with Mr W. Howard being the honourable Secretary. The pub which was built in 1903 was designed by Mr. W. J. Roberts.
